Bert Molina has been named director for the Office of Tax and Revenue's Revenue Accounting Administration.
Molina has more than 30 years of experience in local and state government, school districts and private industry. He has held the positions of chief financial officer for District of Columbia Public Schools and the Milwaukee Public Schools, deputy CFO for the Office of Budget and Planning and associate controller for the Office of Financial Operations and Systems with the District of Columbia. He also served as director of General Accounting for the city of Houston.
Most recently, he was the chief financial officer for the DC Office of Public Education Facilities Modernization.
He holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from St. Edward’s University in Austin.
