(Washington, DC) - The District of Columbia Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) has selected Revenue Solutions, Inc. (RSI), a Massachusetts based technology firm, to provide maintenance and technical support of its Integrated Tax System (ITS) and related applications. The contract term is one year, with four additional option years.
The OTR has been using and enhancing the ITS for more than seven years. The system was first introduced in November 2000 to process business taxes. It now processes individual income taxes, Internet filing and real property taxes. In order to ensure the continuity of successful tax and payment processing, OTR requires Contractor support for various system functions, processes, ITS software changes and the implementation of vital tax application enhancements.

The ITS is a complete enterprise-wide, tax processing, remittance deposit, posting and tracking system with electronic and web-based facilities. The system utilizes a combination of customized and proprietary software. In addition to the core ITS functions, other system components include imaging and data capture, reporting, customer relationship management, correspondence, CAMA, data warehouse and an ESB (enterprise service bus).
