(Washington, DC) On Wednesday, May 21, 2008, the DC State Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting.  The meeting will include a vote on the proposed arts standards; a briefing on the Five-Year State Plan for Career and Technical Education; as well as updates on the annual school report card redesign, the literacy campaign, and the first day of school campaign. 

The meeting will begin at 5:30 pm at 441 4th Street, NW, in the Old Council Chambers on the ground floor.
