The District of Columbia State Board of Education will hold a public hearing Wednesday, October 1, 2008. At the meeting, the State Board will receive input from the public on truancy and the role of the state. The meeting will begin at 5 pm at 441 4th Street, NW, in the District of Columbia State Board of Education Chambers, located on the lobby level of the building.
