WHAT:      DC State Board of Education (DCSBOE) will recognize Metro TeenAIDS with the Outstanding Community Support Award. 

Metro TeenAIDS is a community based health organization that partners with other groups and agencies across the city to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS by providing youth with information and resources to make healthy choices, providing youth with activities and opportunities to help them develop into responsible citizens.  

Metro TeenAIDS will receive the award at the DC State Board of Education regular meeting.
