The DC State Board of Education (DCSBOE) will hold its regularly scheduled public meeting.

The public meeting will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 5:30 pm at 441 4th Street, NW, in the District of Columbia State Board of Education Chambers, located on the lobby level of the building.

The State Board will be briefed on the DC-CAS (Comprehensive Assessment System) by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education. Additionally, the State Board will receive a panel presentation from local experts:
            Mike Casserly, Council of Great City Schools
            Jane Hannaway, Urban Institute
            Patrick Riccards, Exemplar Strategic Communications

Constituents who wish to comment at the public meeting are required to notify the State Board of Education by the close of business Monday, September 14, 2009 by contacting the Executive Director, Beverley Wheeler, by phone at (202) 741-0884 or by email at Beverley.Wheeler@dc.gov . Please provide one electronic copy and bring 15 copies to the hearing for the Board Members to view.
