The five-year plan outlines the goals, goal measures, objectives, objective measures, strategies, and action steps that will focus and guide OSSE’s work to achieve its vision of ensuring that all District of Columbia residents receive an excellent education. The work moving forward is divided among three main goals that span the spectrum of education from early childhood to adult education as well as three critical action areas that will receive OSSE’s elevated attention.  

In an effort to gain public feedback regarding the strategic plan, the public is invited to discuss the strategic plan at a roundtable on Monday, September 8, 2008 (details below). In addition to the roundtable, OSSE also encourages the public to provide feedback by completing an online survey and/or by participating in an online seminar (details below).
