Office of the State Superintendent of Education announces The National Title I Distinguished Schools Program Application. Schools with 35 percent poverty rate AND who have exceeded adequate yearly progress (AYP) for two or more consecutive years or have significantly closed the achievement gap among the No Child Left Behind student subgroups are eligible to apply:
