OSSE Announces Fiscal Year 2009 Draft Applications for IDEA Parts B and C for Comment

The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) is pleased to announce the posting on its website of the draft fiscal year 2009 SEA grant application for IDEA Parts B  and C funds for public comment. 

IDEA Part B funds provide a portion of the overall funds that support the efforts of the OSSE to “create and support interventions that allow students with disabilities to receive an excellent education and life skills training to become well educated, independent, and productive members of our community” (OSSE Strategic Plan, 2008). The public comment period for this posting is 60 days and will close on May 10, 2009 accordingly. OSSE welcomes input from all stakeholders and invites all interested parties to review the application and provide feedback to Gregory Ellis at Gregory.Ellis@dc.gov.
